I’ve actually already got these uploaded on their individual portfolio pages, but I was waiting til I had the Anne pics uploaded for making a blog post… but I want to post them now and it’s my blog so I do what I want.
Megara:
It’s not like I didn’t already have nice pics of this costume (I love the ones Chase took of me at Momocon last year), but I’m still pleased to have pics of it on the white backdrop.
I think I miiiiight wear this to MidSouthCon. The wig needs a little TLC. It’s a little frizzy and broken up in the back, and the front has fallen a bit. This is due to me not storing it properly. It has literally been sitting in my sewing room, pinned to a wighead (badly), wrapped in a garbage bag, and it keeps getting shuffled to different places around my office because I have nowhere to put it at the moment. So it needs cleaned up. Also noticed a few things on the dress that need some quick fixes – found a thread hanging on the end of the skirt in some of the pics that needs taken care of, and I want to fix some of the pleating on the sides. But none of that would take very long. It just depends on if I get a burst of energy before midsouthcon.
Trillian:
Not a lot of variety in these photos – it’s mostly just me standing this way or that LOL. I wore my glasses for a few photos just to spice things up, even though mine aren’t that much like hers. But I thought it was cute.
I’ve decided I hate that wig. It’s not curly enough and it’s too poofy. I could recurl it, but that doesn’t fix the poofiness. Lord it’s poofy. I was jabbing bobbie pin after bobbie pin along the sides and top trying to get it to look normal. It may just be because I have such a tiny head, this wig doesn’t work for me – I’ve noticed that issue with other Arda wigs but it hasn’t been as bad as this one.
Anyway. I finally have nice pics of this complete costume. Yay!
Fionna:
Unlike Trillian there’s a lot of fun cute poses to do with Fionna so I ended up with quite a few pictures. So glad to have good pics of this costume, and with my sword! At Dragoncon (when the sword was new) I only got like 3-4 quick photos standing in the hallway outside of the room.
Anyway, I pulled Luna in for a few pics. I always tried to pull Indy into a couple of pics so since Luna was hanging around, the photoshoot animal title has passed to her. She really was not interested in posing though, and she doesn’t look anything like “Cake,” but we did get a couple of cute pics:
Hopefully I’ll have Anne pics uploaded tonight…
